Thomas Wayne Boyer

Thomas Wayne Boyer, age 58, of Petersburg passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.

He is survived by his children; Tommy, Sabrina, Tammy, Jacob, Cody and step-son Matthew; grandchildren; David, Courtney, Destiny, Lexy, Callista, Ashton and Robert, great-grandchild; Zelda, parents; Thomas and Jo Boyer of Petersburg, sister; Kay (Kenny) Blackard, brothers; Steven and Christopher (Andrea) Boyer, nieces; Rebecca, Addison, and Alyson, nephews; Aaron and Dylan, great-nephews; Ethan, Bryce and Tyler, great-niece; Carley, as well as several aunts, uncles and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Katrina Greeving, nephew, Jason Blackard grandparents, Hannon and Lula Green, Earnie Boyer and Mary Boske.

Tom was born February 24, 1957 in El Paso, Texas, the son of Thomas E. and Jo Evelyn Green/Boyer.

Burial services for Tom will be at a later date followed by a Memorial Dinner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made out to the “Thomas Boyer Memorial Fund” and sent to Mott & Henning Funeral Home at 206 N. Main St. P.O. Box 257 of Athens, Illinois 62613.
