Nilza O. Vargas, 90, of Springfield, passed away on January 1, 2012 at the home.
She is survived by her children; Nadia Vargas, Rejane Archibald, Roberto Vargas, Izabel Vargas and Cleide Piper; nine grandchildren & twelve Great grandchildren. Nilza was born September 1, 1921 in Porto Alegre, Brazil, the daughter of Elvira Oliveira.
She is preceded in death by her husband Dejalmo, a son Carlos Alberto and a grandchild Danielle.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Springfield from 10:00 AM to time of funeral services at 11:00 AM. Mott & Henning Funeral in Athens is in charge of arrangements.
Bishop Gonzalo Ayoroa officiating.
Burial will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Springfield.
Memorials can be made to Memorial Home Hospice.
