Wayne Brown, age 93, of Cantrall, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at the Villa Health Care East in Sherman.
He is survived by wife, Lela; daughter, Rose (Don) Grant; two sons, Edward (Christina) Brown and Terry (Nancy) Brown; two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Caleb Brown; and several nieces and nephews.
Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Mary Jane; brother, John Brown; sister, Edna Tebrugge; and several aunts and uncles.
He was born on August 26, 1923 in Springfield, Illinois.
Wayne worked for Sangamo Electric for over thirty years and farmed.
He was a Shriner, Mason, Farm Bureau Member, and a member of Westside Christian Church.
Wayne served in the United States Army.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 2, 2016 at Strode Cemetery near Cantrall.
Rev. Gary Winkleman will be officiating
Memorials can be made to Strode Cemetery.
