Mildred White, age 92, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday September 12, 2009 in Springfield.
She is survived by:
Three Step-daughters -Susan Whitlock of Kimberling City, Missouri
-Paula Parkison of Eustis, Florida -Natalie Wriston of Lisle, Illinois Step-son :Kevin White of Rutherfordton, North Carolina Six Step-Grandchildren Several Step-Great-grandchildren She is preceded in death by three brothers; Leslie, Emery, and Charles; and one sister, Della Hurt.
Mildred was born November 26, 1916 in Cambridge, Nebraska, the daughter of Charles and Nellie Babcock Jensen.
She graduated from Athens High School and later worked for Illinois Bell Telephone Company as an operator and office worker for more than 30 years.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
