Richard (Dick) White age 85 of Cantrall died April 2, 2008 at his residence.

Son : Eddie R.(Maureen) White of Lincoln

Three Grandchildren Two Step Grandchildren Several Nieces & Nephews

Mr. White was born January 2, 1923 in Springfield the son of John D. and Maude Ulery White.

Dick married Louise Brown in June of 1946 in Athens. He is preceded in death by a daughter Susan Taylor.

Mr. White served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1946 during World War II.

He graduated in 1940 from Athens High School.

Mr. White had retired from Fiat Allis, was a member of the Cantrall United Methodist Church, a life member of Amvets Post 179 of Greenview, a fifty-five year member of Athens Masonic Lodge #762 and life member of the Scottish Rite Consistory in Springfield.

Graveside services at Camp Butler National Cemetery at 1:00 P.M. on Friday April 11, 2008. Masonic Services will follow at Cantrall United Methodist Church at 2:15 P.M, then immediately following with the Memorial Service. Officiating: Rev. Bob Ervin Mott & Henning Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Memorials in lieu of flowers: Cantrall United Methodist Church or Athens Masonic Lodge # 762.
