Jerald Williams, age 53, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at his home.
Jerry is survived by his mother and step-father, Carol and Robert McCall; one daughter, Nicole Williams Luttge; one son, Jared Williams; four grandchildren, Noah Hughs, Brian Waters, Logan Williams, and Owen Williams; two brothers, Ben Williams and Monty Williams; one sister, Dawn Melvin; several nieces and nephews.
He was born March 6, 1959 in Springfield, Illinois the son of Ben and Carol Williams.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Jerry married Rita Secrest on March 6, 1982 in Springfield and later divorced after 28 years of marriage.
Memorial services will be held at Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 16, 2012.
Rev. Ken Gennicks will be officiating.
