Robert “Bob” Willis age 81, of Greenview, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2011 at St. John’s Hospice in Springfield.
He is survived by his wife Adelia Willis; children, Bobbi Kay Miller, Lynn (Kenneth) Deverman, David (Bonnie) Willis, Larry Willis, Kelly Willis; grandchildren, Matt and Angie Grimm, Bradley, Tyler, Justin, and Denver Willis, Brian and Daren Deverman, and Lindsey Bradley; thirteen great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond Willis of Athens and a sister, Marietta Emmett of Nashville, TN.
He is preceded in death by his sisters, Edith Kelly and Helen Weisenberger, brothers Sam and Jim Willis.
Robert was born April 14, 1930 in Curran, Illinois the son of Guy and Lyda Willis.
He married Adelia Ramsay on July 11, 1950 in St. Patrick’s Church in Springfield.
Mr. Willis was a life-long farmer in the Greenview area.
Private graveside services for immediate family will be held.
Rev. Msgr.Thomas Holinga officiating.
Burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Greenview.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kare Kamp (kid’s with cancer), the Menard County EMS, or to the Menard County Rescue Squad.

D’Ann, Bob and I are so very sorry to read of your loss. I know it has been such a long time since we have seen each other, but you have always been in our thoughts. Rob contacted me about Bob’s passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I know he and my Dad were friends for many years and it meant so much that he stopped by to see Dad when he was ill,Bob was just a good guy! I have many memories of your family that bring a smile to my face. Your many memories, while they may bring a tear now as you deal with this huge loss, will be a source of comfort and bring smiles to your faces in time. Love to you all, Mary Beth
