Robert “Bob” Willis age 81, of Greenview, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2011 at St. John’s Hospice in Springfield.

He is survived by his wife Adelia Willis; children, Bobbi Kay Miller, Lynn (Kenneth) Deverman, David (Bonnie) Willis, Larry Willis, Kelly Willis; grandchildren, Matt and Angie Grimm, Bradley, Tyler, Justin, and Denver Willis, Brian and Daren Deverman, and Lindsey Bradley; thirteen great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond Willis of Athens and a sister, Marietta Emmett of Nashville, TN.

He is preceded in death by his sisters, Edith Kelly and Helen Weisenberger, brothers Sam and Jim Willis.

Robert was born April 14, 1930 in Curran, Illinois the son of Guy and Lyda Willis.

He married Adelia Ramsay on July 11, 1950 in St. Patrick’s Church in Springfield.

Mr. Willis was a life-long farmer in the Greenview area.

Private graveside services for immediate family will be held.

Rev. Msgr.Thomas Holinga officiating.

Burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Greenview.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kare Kamp (kid’s with cancer), the Menard County EMS, or to the Menard County Rescue Squad.
