  9. To all the family,

Wilma was a faithful witness to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Sherry invited me to a backyard bible club at her home some 48 years ago because of Wilma’s willingness to open her home for the gospel presentation; that night, I heard the gospel for the first time. I put my trust in the Lord that night and asked the Lord to save me. I believe that seed was sewn into my heart that night. What a difference that made in my life. Your Mother was indeed an incredible blessing to me. I am so thankful for that one act of kindness and hospitality. That is just one story. I am sure countless people have a testimony like mine because of her love for Jesus. What a blessing she can genuinely hear Jesus say well done, good and faithful servant. She is in the care of our Lord. I wish I had known her more. I had only seen her through the years from time to time. I have never forgotten her faithfulness. May the Lord comfort you at this time and give you peace, knowing she is with the Father.
You are all in my prayers.
Because He lives, you can face tomorrow
    In Christs love
